OK I have to say I have done the "aluminum foil thing" a bunch of times when I'd go out jogging (I didn't even know for sure if it would help but I figured it probably would divert at least some of the EMF frequencies away from my body). I do like to keep it on in case I want to call someone, text someone (or receive a text) or take a photo of something. Yes, I have become somewhat of a slave to my cell phone. But I am, in general, pretty careful NOT to hold it next to my body!!!
I also have a Pong cell phone case, that I like a lot.
I also use this quite a bit.
